As SimRacing enthusiasts, we started playing the main games such as iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Automobilista 2 ....

We shared the same Steam account within the family, but soon realized that it wasn't possible to create multiple users to store our best times, nor was it possible to compare our times within the same game, let alone across several games.

​

So we had several options:
- Write down our times on a sheet of paper
- Use an Excel file
- Develop our own web platform

​

You can easily guess which option we chose, and so the adventure began in early 2024.

​

As fathers of two teenagers, we take a certain pleasure in comparing our times on the same circuit and teasing each other to see who's the best.

This platform, initially intended for our own personal use within the family and with our friends, received requests to open up to other users who wanted to create the same dedicated environment for their friends and family, and so SimRacingTimer.com was born!
